clmg, the campaign for learning through museums and galleries
past projects

Museums and galleries should recognise that learning is one of their core functions and should structure themselves accordingly.

One young man, a resident of Salford Foyer, has gained the motivation for other voluntary work since getting involved with Salford Museum and art gallery.

He joined the Museum Fever group at the museum in 2002 and made contact with a local radio station through the group and
was soon given a regular DJ-ing slot.

Since then he’s taken part in various European Voluntary Service trips and is a member of the steering committee for Salford Foyer and the Youth Parliament.
